Sencap Partners Inc. (“Sencap”) is pleased to announce that Alan Chen has joined its Toronto office as Director of Investment Origination - Infrastructure. In this role, Alan will lead Sencap’s infrastructure advisory and debt origination efforts.
With more than 12 years of experience in financial advisory, PPP, and project development, Alan brings expertise across a range of asset classes—including hospitals, schools, roads, transportation, and renewable energy—in Canada, the U.S., and other jurisdictions. His portfolio includes some of North America’s most notable P3 infrastructure projects, such as Clackamas County Courthouse, Prince George’s County Public Schools Phase 1, Gilcrease Expressway West, Corner Brook Long Term Care, Eglinton Crosstown LRT, Grand Bend Wind Farm, and North Island Hospitals. Prior to joining Sencap, Alan held advisory roles at Agentis Capital in Toronto and National Bank Financial in New York and was a member of the origination team at Plenary Americas in Toronto.

Based in the Toronto office, Alan will focus on originating and leading transaction execution for PPP, infrastructure, and power project finance mandates. Alan holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Arts (Minor) in Economics from Queen’s University and is a CFA Charterholder.
