Jonathan Wen – Vice President, Investments - Canada

Jonathan leads the investments team for Welltower Canada, having oversight of the entire transactions process from sourcing deals, underwriting, negotiations of purchase agreements, due diligence, and asset management. Jonathan has over 15 years of experience in real estate, specializing in seniors housing. Prior to joining Welltower Jonathan led the investments and financing teams at Chartwell retirement residences. He has closed over $1 billion of transactions and had oversight of a $2.5 billion debt book including bonds, construction and bridge loans, revolvers, and long-term CMHC-insured financing. Prior to joining Chartwell Jonathan was part of the GE Capital Real Estate Canada team in both finance and equity asset management. Jonathan has a Honours Bachelor of Arts from York University and an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
Ken McKinnon – Managing Director, Head of Real Estate Corporate Banking

Ken McKinnon, Managing Director, is Head of Real Estate Corporate Banking at TD Securities, a position he has held since 2014. He has been with TD Bank Group for over 20 years, joining TD Securities in 2003. TD Securities’ Real Estate Corporate Banking team consists of 20 professionals covering all sectors of the real estate space across Canada and the US. While at TD Securities, Ken has actively built leading relationships with large public and private real estate owners and operators. He has experience in originating, arranging and syndicating large debt transactions and project financings. Ken is also the lead for the Black Experience Committee for TD Securities and is a member of TD Bank’s Black Experience Steering Committee and Community Investment Committee. He has an Honours Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Windsor. Ken is a CFA Charterholder.
Adam Burk – Vice President, Development & Strategic Investing
